The Lamia is a type of Vampire which hails from ancient Greece. It is an all-female breed, and is one of the most dangerous and feared breeds of Vampire, due to its monstrous form. Luckily, they are relatively rare, and tend to be highly territorial. They prefer hot, humid environments.
Abilities
The Lamia is unique in the world of Vampires for its large and powerful monster form. During the night, it can assume a form which has the appearance of an attractive (albeit reptilian) woman from the waste up with an enormous and powerful serpentine tail below the waste. Despite some misconceptions, they can change between this form and that of a normal-looking attractive woman at will. They use this ability to lure in young men to feed on them, as many other vampires do.
