I felt really bad about not getting anything out last week, and I so wanted to be on time this week, but because of the trip up the country and SF Comic Con (which was great) and this damn heat wave here in SF and general laziness and procrastination… all I could get done was the penciling. So, I scanned that, and did the stuff I usually did after I’d finished inking and digitally coloring it. Think of it as a glimpse into my process. The real version will be up today or tomorrow. Hopefully today.

[EDIT] So it was Friday. In the Evening. Sorry about that.

[FURTHER EDIT] Because I just remembered it’s not at all clear, those are supposed to be the two guys from comic #74: Meanwhile, Among the Villains. That’s what the reference to Piracy is about. I was a little too in my own head there, sorry.

In case it’s not clear to everyone, in the bottom middle panel the motorcycle is firing the slime. Didn’t draw that quite clearly.

Otherwise I REALLY like this page. Some dialogue I’m really proud of, Nazi punching, it’s got everything. And remember, if you think you should punch a Nazi, do it with your face covered, and have an exit route planned.

Putting this up now, so I can at least say I put something up on Tuesday. I’ll get it colored and put in the effects I meant to and add speech bubbles and a title and put the better version up some time in the next day or so. Also get the new colorized incentive up. This is what you get for reading a webcomic by a college senior. And a lazy one at that.

Really like how the art turned out on that second panel. I hate the first panel because it made me yawn so many freaking times.
