To be fair, one of the teachers is like four-hundred years old, but is also a rampaging sociopath.
Sorry for skipping last week. Some stuff came up. Make with the voting, please!
My Writing and Thoughts on Science Fiction, Fantasy, and the Inhuman Condition
Coloring this one took a long-ass time, but dam am I proud of that fourth panel. It almost felt redundant putting the scream in an actual speech bubble.
Voting would be appreciated, thank you. Or if that’s too much trouble just give me your hard-earned money.
Sorry we’re a few days late.
I have a fondness for Superpowers with actual, complex scientific explanations. In case you can’t tell from the rest of this comic. Just saying someone is super strong without accounting for things like the tension strength of bones and muscles and issues with proper leverage with that much force being used by a tiny human frame, always felt like cheating to me. You’ve got no rules so you can break them whenever you want. Also I’m SUUUPER anal.
Vote!
Credit to my friend Clara who, in a conversation about Power Girl, (from years ago, before I’d actually started working on this comic (yes I have been planning this stupid gag for that long)) noted that the line in the third panel (verbatim) is all she’d really need to get everyone off her back about the boob window.
Frankly, were I a Kryptonian, and was that completely invulnerable, and I had the physique of any of the Kryptonians, I would struggle to convince myself every single day to fight crime wearing anything at all. That Clark actually bothers to change into something for those quick, faster-than-the-eye-can-see jobs is, frankly, absurd.
Make with the voting, please.
Natalie’s kind of a badass.
This one was a lot of fun to draw, sorry I ended up doing so on Tuesday Morning again. The Nazi arc is almost wrapped up, just a few more finishing details and then we’ll move on to something new.
A Vote for Kong Tower is a Vote for Nazi crotch-shot impalement. It’s the right thing to do.
Had you there for a second, didn’t I? Big Thanks to the people who participated in This Poll on My Twitter. I don’t know why I expected anything but this to win, honestly.
One of these days I’ll start a Patreon or something and I’ll put a high-res version of that image up.
If you like the above Sexiness, show it by leaving a comment below, donating with the tip jar button above, or Voting for Kong Tower on Top webcomics with the blue button middle, where you’ll also get to see Kong Tower #38: Out of the Rogues’ Gallery in full color! Or just share about it on social media. That way I’ll know you like it and might be tempted to do it again!
Putting this up now, so I can at least say I put something up on Tuesday. I’ll get it colored and put in the effects I meant to and add speech bubbles and a title and put the better version up some time in the next day or so. Also get the new colorized incentive up. This is what you get for reading a webcomic by a college senior. And a lazy one at that.
Okay, that’s better. Got effects and such.
Just vote. To see Kong Tower #29: Revanchists: Age of Fashion with color and effects!!!
Between April’s innocently shocked face and Tim’s pink slipper, panel 3 is one of my favorite things I’ve drawn.
I originally conceived of this as 2 different comics, but I decided I could fit it into one. In a way it’s still 2. I will admit, I stole the punchline for the second part of this from Leftover Soup. However he claims in that comic to have stolen it from Something Positive, so I’m calling it a wash.
Vote to see Kong Tower #3 in color! And also to support your favorite webcomic with extra publicity! And, I don’t know, Puppies or something. You’ll get puppies. I can lie here, right?
So that’s how he gets his hair like that.
Really like how the art turned out on that second panel. I hate the first panel because it made me yawn so many freaking times.
In case you missed it, there was a strip last Friday for Batman v Superman.
Vote this week to see Kong Tower #2 in color!
