Lilin, or lilitu, or simply Lilith are a breed of Vampire. They are, like Baobhan Sith and Lamia, an all-female breed. They are one of the oldest types of vampire known, going back to ancient Babylon.
Reproduction
Like many forms of vampire, Lilin have multiple methods in which to reproduce. Like most, they can turn other people (specifically women) into Lilin. However, they are fairly unique among even vampires for the ability to use parthenogenesis: asexual reproduction, in which the offspring is an identical, younger version of the mother. Essentially they can clone themselves. These daughters grow up from infancy to the prime of adulthood, then stop, and become immortal.
