The Quell, or “Fahh”, is an Epic Fantasy world I’ve been working on for some years now as the setting for various novels and other stories. It’s meant to be a vast, sprawling world inspired by a varied blend of world mythology and history. And now I’m posting about it online!
Inspired by Matt Sheridan’s Zoteris writeup in participation with Jim White’s #Lore24 project, I’m going to be crossposting to this Google Doc, this Bluesky Thread, and this Tumblr blog EVERY DAY. HOLD ME TO THAT! Through this, the core premises of the setting as well as vibrant details will be laid bare in preparation for any upcoming published works set within the world. Ideally these won’t be anything necessary to enjoy the stories themselves, but just a more in-depth look at the nature of the world those characters live in.
