The Revenant is a breed of Vampire. This is in fact the creature to which the name “Vampire” was given in Eastern Europe, Revenant being the Western equivalent, and they will often refer to themselves as Vampires, while the class as a whole is “the Motetz Dam.” Revenants, unlike many other types of Vampire, truly resemble rotting corpses, undergoing what appears to be the natural process of decomposition. They are bloated, swollen creatures with ruddy skin as if overfilled with blood. Even their eyes are bloodshot. Older, more powerful Revenants will lose their hair, and have their ears and nose protrude as if the cartilage were overgrown.

Revenants possess the ability to become invisible, and to crawl on walls much like a lizard.
