The Strigoi, or Strigoi Mort, is a type of Vampire which closely resembles a live human. They are somehow attached to Saturday and generally meet with each other on that night.
Abilities
Strigoi have shown abilities such as invisibility and shapeshifting, as well as the power to communicate with other Vampires telepathically.
Reproduction
New Strigoi are made when a Strigoi Viu, a living Strigoi dies, and is not destroyed in the proper vampiric manner. The Strigoi Viu may be the result of a Strigoi mating with a human, like a Dhampir, or it may appear spontaneously. They can also create new Strigoi in the traditional Vampiric manner, by turning mortals
