Kong Tower #90: A Leap of Faith

Happy New Year! Thought I’d start out 2017 the way we should all aspire to spend it: taking action against the actual goddamn Nazis threatening our society. Give to good causes, walk in marches, make your voice heard to your local representatives, but please, don’t jump off any buildings (unless you’re REALLY sure it’ll help).

Voting for Kong Tower on Top Web Comics will NOT help others in any way, but I encourage you to do it anyway as an alternative to leaping off buildings. You’ll get to see Kong Tower #39: Merry Christmas from the Mental Ward (I know, should’ve been last week) in full color!

Had you there for a second, didn’t I? Big Thanks to the people who participated in This Poll on My Twitter. I don’t know why I expected anything but this to win, honestly.

One of these days I’ll start a Patreon or something and I’ll put a high-res version of that image up.

If you like the above Sexiness, show it by leaving a comment below, donating with the tip jar button above, or Voting for Kong Tower on Top webcomics with the blue button middle, where you’ll also get to see Kong Tower #38: Out of the Rogues’ Gallery in full color! Or just share about it on social media. That way I’ll know you like it and might be tempted to do it again!

You probably saw this coming from the last comic. I think that Bishie Sparkle panel came out really well, probably my best Aya drawing yet.

Oh by the way, I’m putting up all the old colorized voting incentives on a Tumblr, on a Monday-Wednesday-Friday schedule, so if you missed any, or you just felt like reliving the Kong Tower experience on the schedule of webcomic with a competent artist, you can just follow that!

Oh, and Happy Holidays!

Speaking of colorized comics, Vote for Kong Tower to see comic #37: A Death in the Insults in full color!

He was very disappointed when he actually got to Earth and discovered that people were drawn in a completely different style. Also they usually wore clothes and generally objected to having them ripped off.

This may be the most juvenile joke I’ve done so far. And my third comic was a boob joke. You can probably guess where I’m going with this.

If I haven’t screwed up again, Kong Tower #36: What’s That in the Sky?! COLORIZED should be up as an incentive now. Please vote even if you don’t feel like seeing it particularly.

If you think about it, depending on your point of view, there’s really very little difference between Fox Mulder and Denzel Crocker. Wait, does… does that make the Syndicate Timmy? Don’t overthink this.

Honestly I was gonna do this comic a while ago, but it just never seemed quite right, pacing-wise, but now I needed something as filler and I already had the thumbnail drawn.

Oh, by the way, there’s now a Tip Jar option, so if you really feel compelled to pay me money for the laughs I provide, just check the menu at the top of the page, or CLICK HERE!

Vote for Kong Tower to see Kong Tower #34: The Masquerade colorized!

[[UPDATE]] Apologies, but with finals coming up I’ve been busy, so there won’t be an update for 12/6. However, the is, starting today, an Art! page, on which I’ve already posted all my drawings for Inktober 2016, and the Voting incentive has been updated normally, and should now be Kong Tower #35: Power Alignment. Thank you for reading, and please vote and tip.

Hey, look it’s those guys from the Banner! They were supposed to have some sort of role in this comic, weren’t they?

Happy, Thanksgiving, everyone! I’m thankful for all you loyal readers.  The fact that I could probably fit all of you at a dinner table is inconsequential. Have a great holidays!

Kong Tower #33: Super Spooky in full color is gonna be up as a voting incentive a little late today, don’t let that discourage you from voting!

My God could it be?! A comic with only minimal copy-pasting!! Call the presses!

So this has been a pretty shitty week, huh? Convenient that I had a whole comic about retaining the hope to fight against impressive (and oppressive) forces already scripted. I hope you all make it through the difficult times to come, and want you to know that I will stand with you in whatever way I can. We may not have superpowers, but that doesn’t mean we have to succumb to the malevolent Nazis in real life. (MAN I wish that were a euphemism)

The barrel-of-monkeys-Rang thrown by MM smacked the Nazi super-gun out of his hand while cutting his palm, in case that’s not clear. I couldn’t get a speed effect to look quite right.

Vote for Kong Tower to see comic #32: Do Me a Favor: Tell the Audience About Me colorized.

Ah, Kryptonite. You silly, silly plot device you.

If that Nazi looks at all familiar, when I realized this comic (which I’d already scripted out) was coming out on Election day, I couldn’t resist. Everybody get out there and VOTE!

Speaking of which, Vote for Kong Tower to see comic #31: The Dramatic Reveal! in full color! (on freaking time this week!)

Aside from the Age of Ultron one where it was for the date of the DVD release, this is the first comic where I’ve actually seen the movie at the time when it goes up, if only by a couple hours. It was REALLY good, guys. Definitely worth seeing in IMAX, it’s a total experience, it’s got humor, it’s got some really inspired action scenes, just, go see it already. It does not actually have dragons, though. That is perhaps its one major flaw.

Like Doctor Strange, you can go back in time, to Kong Tower #30: An Ode to Punching Bad-Guys (only in color!) just by clicking the Magic Button below, and Voting for Kong Tower!

Kong Tower #82: Professor Exposition II

So yeah, those are the two main different types of superpowers in this world. Basically it’s the difference between Mutants and Mutates as described here, except the Mutants always have powers that don’t break the laws of physics in really obvious ways. That’s enough text-heavy world-building for now.

Vote to see Kong Tower #30: An Ode to Punching Bad-Guys colorized! (That guy isn’t a Curio or an Aberrant. He’s just absurdly badass.) (This is actually up now. Sorry for the delay, I just liked looking at that one from last week. All shiny.)
