A high-rise apartment building full of supers. What could go wrong? A world of superheroes from the perspective of its not-so-heroic and questionably super inhabitants. Updates every Tuesday; Friday strips parody new movies.
It was Larry Niven who said “Never fire a laser at a mirror.” Less well known, but equally important is the corollary: “Never fire a heat ray at an oncoming hail of glass shards. Beam weapons are really just stupid in general.”
This is late, I apologize. I want to eat lunch now. Vote please.
This is, uh. This is one of the more outright lude jokes I’ve done. Tell me what you think. Anyway, I’m tired now and will go to bed.
[[EDIT]]: I fixed the typos.
Vote please, it will make me very happy and is good karma and shit like that.
“Her legs went on for miles…” That is an actual detective film cliche right? I’m not just pulling that out of my ass?
Sorry about last week. I got distracted with other things and, you know. But hey! Two year anniversary’s coming up next month! Don’t forget to bring presents! There’ll be a strip that day since it conveniently coincides with the awesome-looking Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2!
There’s no new incentive, because I haven’t really figured out what to do now that I’ve finished all the colorized old strips, but Vote anyway! Charity’s good for the soul!
Hey, you read that last title. It’s not a cliffhanger if you’re not left hanging. Besides, it’s been like fifty comics since we last saw Rob McCobb, and that is FAR too long a hiatus between zombie-detective plotlines if you ask me.
Forgot where we left off with Rob? Conveniently, the last comic featuring him has now been colorized as a voting incentive! It’s also the last un-colored comic for me to put up, so I’m not really sure what I’m gonna do from here on. Vote please!
Sorry about last week. Midterms.
But hey, 100 comics, baby! Big day for all of us. Mainly me though.
In retrospect I kinda wish the head looked more like it was moving towards the characters, but oh well. Ink is ink.
Celebrate this momentous occasion by voting with the button below! It’s free and you’ll get to see colorized version of Kong Tower #48: A Case of the Living Dead V. Almost done with those, not sure what I’m gonna put up there after.
Well, I’m 36 hours late, but at least it’s up. Happy International Women’s day everyone. Here’s the woman I give all my best quips to.
Vote to see Kong Tower #47: A Case of the Living Dead IV, or: More Zombie-Sci Exposition!
Boy, it’s gonna be super awkward when Manly Guys Doing Manly Things does this exact joke next week.
The fact that I punched this comic out in literally an evening is kinda indicative that I’m generally half-assing this whole project. I don’t expect to stop. I am tired now.
Make with the Voting please.
Pre-colored version up now so I can say I updated on schedule, the fully-finished one and the voting incentive should be up later today. So if you don’t like beige just come back later. Even this I polished off late Monday night, so I’m gonna need to go to bed now. Vote, Bye.
[UPDATE]: Hey, colors! Also Comic #46: A Case of the Living Dead III is now up as a voting incentive through the button below, and I’m pretty happy with it, so… if you don’t mind? Oh, and I should have a comic up some time Friday for Logan, if you have ideas for a joke I could do on it, please don’t hesitate to contact me on my Twitter or other social media.
Meet Scarab. He has powered armor made of giant, telepathically controlled magic bugs. He is cooler than you. You’ve actually seen him a couple times before, but never in context. I don’t know how much he’s actually gonna figure into the story, but I really like his character; I got a couple jokes planned for him.
The colorized Comic #45: A Case of the Living Dead II should be up today, but like I said last week a bunch of my files got corrupted and working off the jpeg is kind of a hassle, so I wouldn’t be surprised were it a bit late. Nonetheless, please vote!
Something quick and easy since it’s V-day. Which I will probably spend going to see the Lego Batman Movie alone because my life is equal parts nerdy and sad.
Drawing was done for a Top Web Comics contest, you can support my dear comic by liking it on Facebook here.
Unfortuneately, I can’t put us a colorized Kong Tower #45: A Case of the Living Dead II right now, because a bunch of my files got f**king corrupted somehow. So it’s still #44 up there. Vote anyway please.
