No color for now, not unlike the first trailer. (played-out-joke-heyoo!) Colored version to come later today. [UPDATE]: Color at last! More blue than I really realized going into this.

So hey, theres a Justice League movie now! It’s supposed to be just okay! Hooraaaaaaay!

I’m definitely gonna see it.

Make with the voting now, please. For JUSTICE!!!

[[UPDATE]]! Sorry the Hiatus is taking so much longer than expected, but how ’bout a nice Valentine’s Day voting incentive to get your blood pumping!? A new Comic will go up on Friday for Black Panther, and after that regular updates should start again. In the meantime, here’s two of your favorite characters in a moment of tender intimacy! And that’s the end of the Nazi Arc. It took WAY too long. Sorry this page is late, and I’m very sorry the next one is going to be VERY late.

I’m taking a couple weeks off. I will put up a Justice League page next week, of course, but just so I can get so I don’t always feel like I’m being chased by the deadline. The story will continue then, probably with something a little more lighthearted than Nazi Mechas. Like, Communist Magical Girls.

In the meantime, please tell as many of your friends and acquaintances as possible about Kong Tower, and have a vote on TWC with the link below. Probably in the Interim I’ll update the incentive once or twice, just to have something to do.

Ah, Kryptonite. You silly, silly plot device you.

If that Nazi looks at all familiar, when I realized this comic (which I’d already scripted out) was coming out on Election day, I couldn’t resist. Everybody get out there and VOTE!

Speaking of which, Vote for Kong Tower to see comic #31: The Dramatic Reveal! in full color! (on freaking time this week!)

Steve kindly agreed to stand just out of frame in this comic so I wouldn’t have to draw another full figure.

I think that second panel is my most successful attempt yet at making Aya look ‘Anime’. Might be the hair.

Those are one of the 140 foot Nazi-Mecha’s feet Sergeant Omega is holding up one handed and freezing/lasering, just to be clear.

Had fun drawing this many odd characters. I’ve been looking forward to this comic for a while and it’s nice to finally get here.

Please, please, PLEASE Vote for me. Please.

Man, I really like how that chiaroscuro stuff turned out. Gotta do that sort of thing more often.

I struggled with what to name the Robin to Monkey Man’s Batman. I considered another Journey to the West reference, but I didn’t think I could make it work. So I thought, Bats are to Monkeys as Robins are to What? Somewhat larger, jungle-dwelling, flightless: Kiwis! They’re adorable!

A vote for Kong Tower is a vote for adorable flightless birds who’s eggs are so big they squish their insides! And to #4 in color.

This may be the closest I’ll ever get to writing a Two Gamers on a Couch comic.

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is out today! Yaaaaaaay! From what I’ve read as of yesterday, the fans love it and the critics aren’t so fond, but I look forward to seeing it for myself.

I’ve added a new character so I have parodies of all of DC’s Trinity in the film. You may have noticed her silhouette in the new banner. She’s something of a two-part parody, first, naturally, of Wonder Woman. But, since I’m not likely to be better than that other webcomic parody of Wonder Woman, I’ve also made her a parody of the general trend in many comics of drawing women with utterly outlandish physical proportions; specifically the art of the infamous Rob Liefeld. If you’re not familiar with the art of Rob Liefeld, click this link to have your spiritual innocence violated.

I’m really happy with how this one came out, artistically. Comedically… eh?

Vote for Kong Tower! Or Sergeant Omega up there will stare at you.

Kong Tower Interlude: Happy Pride to Everyone!

Kong Tower Interlude: Happy Pride to Everyone! published on No Comments on Kong Tower Interlude: Happy Pride to Everyone!

A very promptly drawn semi-comic to celebrate the historic Supreme Court ruling and the upcoming celebration.  Because you really can’t live in San Francisco and not be happy about this. Congrats to everyone out there across the country who can finally be with the person they love. Here’s a comic that probably makes fun of you.

If anyone’s offended by this, I’m probably less sorry than I should be (though I admit I’m not overly proud of “The Dyke,” probably should have spelled it with an “i”). Page inspired a little by this Cracked article, mostly by the fact that I’ve wanted to use this stupid joke since long before I even came up with the premise for this comic.

For those curious, their powers are, respectively: Weather control; Waterbending; claws/super strength/healing factor; Pyrokinesis/flight; and Flight/light manipulation.
